As long as you run good security extensions, Windows anti-virus and run a good utility tool to clean everything at the end of each day, you’ll be golden. Don’t care about some stupid ”security risk”, that’s all lies just to keep people updating. I’m on Firefox 61 and will stay that way. I LOVE my extensions, I will NOT lose them, so I have disabled updates and will keep it this way. Now you must go and find new ones all over, most of the time you’ll never find ones which will do the same job as well, ”IF” you can find them AT ALL!!! ![]() ![]() Instead of making new versions to work with them, they just throw a new version of Firefox at us WITHOUT WARNING which disables all extensions and now all the ones you love and depend on don’t work. If I set my browser to never look for updates and I forget, it’s my fault, my responsibility and NOT the responsibility of the programmers trying to play the role of ”big daddy”.įirefox programmers also keep screwing around with our extensions.
